Call Of The Wild Sounds like…School Holiday Fun!

Call Of The Wild Sounds like…School Holiday Fun!

Answer the call of the wild these holidays with the ‘NewstalkZB Sounds Wild Holiday Trail’ and Show (9 – 25 April).

It’s your chance to check out all the weird and wonderful sounds our animals make, and have heaps of fun.

We start the holiday celebrations on Good Friday, 9 April. So come on in to Auckland Zoo, grab a trail, and get busy listening while you explore, then hot-foot it to the Visitors’ Centre to claim a reward!

Join zany ZBena at the NewstalkZB Sounds Wild Show (11.30am and 1pm, daily at Kidzone) for a special brand of ‘talkback’ on animals. ZBena will be interviewing young zoo visitors about their experiences with animals, and introducing them to some of Auckland Zoo’s most fascinating residents. She’ll also involve you in stories, songs and dances, and share her ideas about what you can do to help endangered species in the wild.

The trail will take you all around the zoo, including the NewstalkZB Rainforest where you might be greeted by the hooting of our siamang gibbon ape! You’ll also visit a special beach, Aussie Walkabout, our African Pridelands and other great places. Check out creatures big and small, the noisy and some that make no sound at all!

Bring your completed trail to the Visitors’ Centre to claim your special giveaway, and don’t forget to enter our awesome NewstalkZB Daily Prize Draw.

You could be in to win one of 17 prize packs featuring the latest ‘Rug Rats, The Movie’ DVD, Holdson puzzle or game, a Best of the Zoo video, Auckland Zoo Wild Zone Gift Shop voucher and more!
