Public briefings on ARC’s draft regional community plan
To give people the oppportunity to learn more about the ARC’s Draft Regional Community Plan 2004-14 and how proposed activities and projects impact on regional rates, the ARC will be holding public briefings throughout the region during April.
Councillors will be presenting key aspects of the Draft Regional Community Plan, and ARC staff will be on hand to answer questions. Everyone is invited to attend. This year the ARC is making it easier for everyone to give their point of view. By logging on to www.getinvolved.co.nz, people can complete a quick on-line survey and let us know how they want the rates spread and if they support a $10 flat charge for buying new park land. People can also do the survey over the phone, through 968 3254, or for those outside the local Auckland calling area, call tollfree 0508 968 7729 (0508 YOURSAY).
This survey is
also included in ARC’s newspaper, RegionWide, which will be
inserted in local papers during the week of 5
April.
