CMJ TRAFFIC BULLETIN: SATURDAY 17 JULY UNTIL MONDAY 26 JULY
Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures for work on the Central Motorway Junction upgrade over the next week.

CMJ Stage 1
Ramp and link closures: Saturday 17 July ¡V CLOSED ¡V during the day from 6am to 8pm: Port on-ramp (SH16 westbound) Wellesley St on-ramp (SH16 westbound) Port off-ramp (SH1 northbound) Wellesley St off-ramp (SH1 northbound)

Sunday 18 July to Thursday 22 July - CLOSED - overnight from 8pm to 6am the following morning: „h Either Boston Rd or Khyber Pass Rd near the motorway ramps

Ongoing motorway lane closures: There will be ongoing north and southbound lane closures at night on the Southern Motorway between the Gillies Ave on- and off-ramps and the Symonds Street overbridge from Sunday through to Thursday nights until 2005.

Please choose alternative routes during these closures. Motorists are advised that there could be delays.

CMJ Stage 2 Motorway closure: Monday 19 until Wednesday 21 July - CLOSED ¡V overnight from 9pm to 6am the following morning: Northbound lanes on the Southern Motorway (SH1) between Nelson St off-ramp and Wellington St on-ramp

Contingency closure: Thursday 22 July - CLOSED ¡V overnight from 9pm to 6am the following morning: Northbound lanes on the Southern Motorway (SH1) between Nelson St off-ramp and Wellington St on-ramp

The night closures are to allow access for the installation of concrete beams for the new Beresford St Viaduct.

Please choose alternative routes during these closures. Motorists are advised that there could be delays.

The CMJ Project Stage 1 of Transit¡¦s Central Motorway Junction upgrade project covers the section of motorway between the Upper Queen St over-bridge and Gillies Ave on- and off-ramps and is scheduled for completion in 2005.

Stage 2 of Transit¡¦s Central Motorway Junction upgrade project extends from Bond St on the Northwestern Motorway (SH16) to the interface with CMJ Stage 1 near Symonds St and from Wellington St on the Southern Motorway (SH1) to Symonds St.
