ARC election results available on internet

Election results for the Auckland Regional Council will be posted on the ARC website as soon as they are available from all electoral officers, expected soon after 2pm on election day, Saturday 9 October.

The election of the Chair will take place after the elections through a vote by the thirteen incoming councillors. The Chair will be formally elected at the Council’s first meeting at 2.00pm on 21 October.

The ARC has a 13 member Council who are elected every three years from six constituencies. The Auckland City area provides four councillors, Manukau three, North Shore and Waitakere are each represented by two, while Franklin-Papakura and Rodney have one councillor each.

Auckland’s local councils will also be posting their election results, including the relevant ARC votes, on their websites.

On voting issues for each specific council or district health board please contact Dale Ofsoske, the Electoral Officer for the ARC area on 379 2023.
