The West Coast
Development Trust
gets first Accredited SME Advisor
The Australasian Institute of Enterprise Facilitators has recently appointed The West Coast Development Trust’s Enterprise Development manager, Mark Jurisich, to professional membership, making him one of the first accredited Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) advisors in the South Island and the only one on the West Coast.
As a result, the Trust now offers a fully accredited confidential business advisory and mentoring service in addition to the enterprise training workshops, follow-up coaching and compliance information services provided under the Enterprise Training Programme and Biz Information West Coast, which Mark also manages for the Trust. All services are provided free to local businesses.
Recently established as part of a Pacific Rim network of professional advisors helping small businesses around the world, the Australasian Institute of Enterprise Facilitators maintains a formal relationship with its Australian counterpart which in turn forms the link with the Asia Pacific Economic Council (APEC) for accreditation of approved international business advisors.
Professional members of the Institute in NZ are appointed by a Board comprising representatives from the Independent Business Foundation, the Economic Development Association of New Zealand, SEAANZ New Zealand and Small Business Enterprise Centres of New Zealand.
