Karamu Stream And Clive River Now Clear Following Last Weeks Sewage Spill

Following last weeks (Tuesday 5th April) sewage spill in to the Karamu Stream, Hawke’s Bay District Health Board’s medical officer of health, Dr Caroline McElnay, said latest results to-date show that the sewage has now dispersed and that the warnings placed on the Karamu stream upriver of the Clive rowing club can now be lifted.

The warnings about the Clive river downstream from the rowing club were lifted last Friday
