Busway traffic bulletin: Saturday 18 March to Friday 24 March

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of proposed closures for work on the Northern Busway and Esmonde Interchange upgrade over the next week.

Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March - CLOSED - during the day and overnight from 6am on Saturday until 7pm on Sunday for relocation of a pylon:
. Northcote Rd on-ramp (SH1 southbound)

Sunday 19 March - CLOSED - overnight from 7pm until 5am on Monday for placement of beams on Shoal Bay Bridge:
. Esmonde Rd eastbound between Barrys Pt Rd and Burns Ave

However if unforeseen circumstances prevent work at this time, work will be carried out on 20 March or 21 March 2006.

Monday 20 and Tuesday 21 March - CLOSED - overnight from 10:30pm until 5am the following morning for placement of temporary barriers:
. All SH1 motorway lanes southbound between Constellation Drive off-ramp and Tristram Ave on-ramp
. Constellation Drive On-ramp (SH1 southbound)

However if unforeseen circumstances prevent work at this time, work will be carried out on 22 March and 23 March 2006.

Road users are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
