The National Library of New Zealand, the National Preservation Office and Auckland City Libraries present a free public seminar on “Keeping your digital stuff” at the Central City Library on 29 July.
The seminar addresses the problems of how to preserve digital photographs, emails, web pages and other electronic items and how to keep them safe when technology is moving so fast.
International expert Deborah Woodyard-Robinson, who has worked on preserving digital material at both the British Library and National Library of Australia, will present the seminar, which will be facilitated by Paul Reynolds, a local digital commentator.
