Busway traffic bulletin: saturday 2 september to friday 8 september

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week's proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).

Sunday 3 and Monday 4 September
ESMONDE RD
Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Esmonde Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for pavement construction.
* The eastbound link from Akoranga Dr to Esmonde Rd will also be closed at the same times.
* Motorists are advised to use the Onewa Rd or Northcote Rd off-ramps as an alternative.
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above times, the closure will be on 5 or 6 September.

Sunday 3, Monday 4 and Thursday 7 September
ESMONDE RD
Esmonde Rd eastbound between Barrys Point Rd and Burns Ave - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for works on Shoal Bay Bridge.
* As part of this closure, the left hand turn from Barrys Point Rd into Esmonde Rd will be closed at the same times.
* Motorists are advised to follow the detour route on Barrys Point Rd and Anzac Rd.
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent works at the above times, the closure will be on 5 or 6 September.

Sunday 3 until Thursday 7 September
SOUTHBOUND MOTORWAY CLOSURE
All SH1 southbound motorway lanes from Northcote Rd off-ramp to Esmonde Rd on-ramp - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for the construction of permanent barriers.
* As part of this closure the Northcote Rd SH1 southbound on-ramp will be closed at the same times.
* An alternative route will be posted from Northcote Rd.

Sunday 3 September
NORTHCOTE RD
Northcote Rd eastbound between the northbound motorway ramps and Taharoto Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning.
* Detour routes will be posted.
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent works at the above times, the closure will be on 4 or 5 September.

Sunday 3 and Monday 4 September
NORTHCOTE RD
The right hand turn at the end of the Northcote Rd SH1 southbound off-ramp -CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning to change Northcote Rd to a new temporary alignment.
* Motorists are advised to use the Onewa Rd or Tristram Ave southbound on-ramp.
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent works at the above times, the closure will be on 5 September.

Tuesday 5 September
NORTHCOTE RD
Northcote Rd westbound between Taharoto Rd and the northbound motorway ramps - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning.
* Detour routes will be posted.
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent works at the above times, the closure will be on 6 September.

Tuesday 5 September
ONEWA RD
Southbound off-ramp from SH1 to Onewa Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for paving works.
* Motorists are advised to use the Northcote Rd southbound off-ramp.
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent works at the above times, the closure will be on 6 and 7 September.
