State Highway 20 (SH20) Mangere Bridge traffic bulletin

Transit New Zealand wishes to advise that the following closures will take place on the Southwestern Motorway (SH20) at Mangere Bridge:

Sunday 24 - Thursday 28 September – CLOSED – overnight from 8:30pm until 5:30am the following morning:
- One southbound lane and one northbound lane between Neilson St on-ramp and Rimu Rd off-ramp

Sunday 24 - Tuesday 26 September – CLOSED – overnight from 8.30pm until 5.30am the following morning:
- Rimu Rd northbound on-ramp

Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 September – CLOSED – overnight from 8.30pm until 5.30am the following morning:
- Rimu Rd southbound off-ramp

One lane in each direction will remain open throughout the closure.

The closures are to carry out resurfacing work on the bridge. Motorists are advised to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.

Please be aware that there may be some delays so allow an extra 30 minutes for your journey, especially travelling to and from the airport.

In the event of adverse weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances, these closures will be moved to the next suitable night until Thursday 5 October.
