bottle of wine, and help the Sanctuary this Christmas
You can now drink to the success of Wellington’s world-first Karori Wildlife Sanctuary whilst helping to raise funds for their new Visitor & Education Centre.
The Sanctuary has joined forces with Hawke’s Bay winemakers Matariki Wines to release ‘Karori Reserve’, which it hopes will raise much-needed funds for the new centre. On offer are a 2003 Cabernet Merlot and a 2004 Sauvignon Blanc, both drinking perfectly for Christmas.
“The Sanctuary has been a major factor in bringing native birds back to Wellington. This is the only city in New Zealand to have seen an increase in native birdlife, so what better way to celebrate this achievement and help us on the next step of our 500-year journey?” said Sanctuary chief executive Nancy McIntosh-Ward.
The wine can be pre-ordered via the Sanctuary website www.sanctuary.org.nz or by calling 04 920 9200.
