Tomorrow’s Manukau Properties Chair retires
Health reasons have forced
Tomorrow’s Manukau Properties Ltd (TMPL) Chair, Peter
Taylor, to retire from his position with the Manukau City
Council-owned company.
“Medical advice is that I must reduce my workload, and it’s with great regret that I have to retire from TMPL,” Mr Taylor says.
“It’s been a real pleasure to work with TMPL’s board, and with the project team for the Flat Bush town centre development, and I shall miss my involvement with this exciting project. I look forward to hearing of continuing progress.”
Manukau City Council Chief Executive Leigh Auton said Mr Taylor’s retirement from his role as Chair was regrettable.
“Peter has made an enormous contribution to the successful establishment of TMPL. His involvement as a member, then Chair of the Flat Bush Advisory Board, and with TMPL since it began in October 2005, has been extremely valuable,” Mr Auton says.
“We are sorry that he is leaving TMPL, but do understand that Peter must put his health first.”
Mr Taylor will work with TMPL and the council to ensure a smooth transition over the next few months.
