Splish, Splosh, Splash at Manukau’s ‘Summer in the Sun Fun Days’
Manukau residents are invited to don their swim suits and sun hats, dab on the sunscreen and join in the fun at Manukau City Council’s Leisure Services free ‘Summer in the Sun Fun Days’ later this month.
The days feature a great line-up of live entertainment that the whole family will enjoy including Aqua-Run, bouncy castle, karaoke, water slide competitions, tug of war and free snorkelling, as well as a sausage sizzle.
Business Development and Marketing Manager for Manukau Leisure Services Philip Dobson says “The pool fun days are about bringing communities together, providing activities for youth and families and encouraging people to have fun as well as develop confidence in the water.
“Manukau’s pools provide a great venue for events like these. There’s something to keep all the young ones occupied, as well as spot prizes and giveaways.”
