Don’t Wear Anything That Might Hurt People
To the tune of the TLC classic, No Scrubs, the Big Day Out says “ we don’t want no studs, studs is a thing that’ll get no love from us, hanging outside the Big Day Out in your best friends ride, is where it’ll have to stay”.
It is as simple as that. We’re sorry but these items will be removed from anyone’s possession at the gate. Our definition of potential dangerous weapons is fair, but at our discretion. It really is quite simple though, don’t wear studded belts, bands or chains and you’ll be OK.
And think carefully about whether the slogan on your t-shirt might hurt someone’s feelings too. If it says “go cry, emo kid”, that really is quite mean.
