Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures on the Central Motorway Junction over the next week for installation of Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) and repair work.

closures:
Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 April - CLOSED -
overnight from 9.30pm until 5am the following morning for
gantry modifications:
. Southern Motorway (SH1)
between Fanshawe St off-ramp and Hobson St on-ramp
southbound
Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 April - CLOSED -
overnight from 10.30pm until 5.30am the following morning
for gantry modifications:
. Southern Motorway
(SH1) between Symonds/Port/Wellesley off-ramp and Wellington
St on-ramp northbound
Ramp and link closures:
Tuesday
10 April - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am on
Wednesday for gantry modifications:
. Port to
Northwestern Motorway (SH16) westbound and Port to North
(SH1) northbound
Tuesday 10 until Thursday 12 April -
CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning
for repair work:

During these times motorists are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
In the event of inclement weather, the closures will be postponed to the next fine evening.
