Busway Traffic Bulletin: Saturday 14 to Friday 20 April

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week's proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).

ESMONDE RD
Sunday 15 - Thursday 19 April
Southbound on-ramp from Esmonde Rd to SH1 - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am for paving works
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd or Onewa Rd on-ramp southbound.

Sunday 15 - Thursday 19 April
Esmonde Rd between Barrys Point Rd & Lake Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am for paving works
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Lake Rd & Anzac Ave

Monday 16 April
All SH1 motorway lanes northbound between Esmonde Rd & Northcote Rd closed 10.30pm - 5am for construction of a footbridge.
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd on-ramp northbound
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Tuesday 17 & Wednesday 18

Sunday 15 & Tuesday 17 April
Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Esmonde Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm - 5am for barrier removal.
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Onewa Rd or Northcote Rd off-ramp northbound.
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on
Wednesday 18 & Thursday 19 April

Sunday 15 & Tuesday 17 April
Akoranga Dr eastbound link to Esmonde Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm - 5am for paving works.
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd.
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on

All SH1 motorway lanes southbound between Northcote Rd & Onewa Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 11pm until 5am for services chamber installation
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Onewa Rd on-ramp southbound

Wednesday 18 & Thursday 19 April
Southbound on-ramp from Northcote Rd to SH1 - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for services chamber installation
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Onewa Rd on-ramp southbound.

Monday 16, Wednesday 18 & Thursday 19 April
Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Northcote Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for paving works.

Wairau Rd between Forrest Hill Rd & Porana Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am for works on over-bridge barriers.
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Forrest Hill Rd & Northcote Rd
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Wednesday 18 April

TRISTRAM AVE
Monday 16 April
Southbound on-ramp from Tristram Ave to SH1 - CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am for barrier placement.
* Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd on-ramp southbound
* If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on
Tuesday 17 April

If any of the contingency dates are required then all work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed to ensure that no two consecutive over bridges or interchanges are closed at the same time.

Road users are requested to use the sign posted detours whilst the closures are in operation.

Transit New Zealand apologises for any inconvenience caused.
