Transit New Zealandadvises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Buswayconstruction (weather permitting).


ESMONDE RD

Sunday 22 April

Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Esmonde Rd– CLOSED - overnight from 9pmuntil 5amfor paving works.

·        Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd off-ramp northbound

·        If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on

Monday 23 or Thursday 26 April

 

Sunday 22 April

Akoranga Dreastbound link to Esmonde Rd– CLOSED - overnight from 9pmuntil 5amfor paving works.

·       Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd

·        If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on

Monday 23 or Thursday 26 April

·      Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Lake Rd & Anzac Ave

·        If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on

Southbound on-ramp from Esmonde Rdto SH1 - CLOSED - overnight from 9pmuntil 5amfor paving works.

Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd or Onewa Rd on-ramp southbound.

All SH1 motorway lanes southbound between Esmonde Rd & Onewa Rd - CLOSED - overnight from 10pm until 5am for placement of services chamber.

·       Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Onewa Rd on-ramp southbound

 

NORTHCOTE RD

Sunday 22 April

Southbound on-ramp from Northcote Rdto SH1 - CLOSED - overnight from 9pmuntil 5amthe following morning for services chamber construction.

·      Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Onewa Rd & Esmonde Rd on-ramp southbound

·      If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Monday 23 & Thursday 26 April

 

Sunday 22 & Monday 23 April (closure will only be required if wet weather postpones previous weeks work)

·      Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Tristram Ave off-ramp northbound

 

CONSTELLATION DR

Monday 23 April

Southbound on-ramp from Constellation Dr to SH1 - CLOSED - overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for construction of permanent barrier.

·      Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Tristram Ave on-ramp southbound

 

Monday 23 April

All SH1 motorway lanes southbound between Constellation Dr & Tristram Ave  - CLOSED - overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for construction of permanent barrier.

·      Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Tristram Ave on-ramp southbound

 

If any of the contingency dates are required then all work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed to ensure that no two consecutive over bridges or interchanges are closed at the same time.

 

Road users are requested to use the sign posted detours whilst the closures are in operation.

 

Transit New Zealandapologises for any inconvenience caused.
