Transit advises of SH1 Old Hautere Cross Road intersection resealing
Transit New Zealand wishes to advise the public it will reseal a section of SH1 south of Otaki this week.
Transit Wellington Regional Manager Graham Taylor says the resealing work, rescheduled from last month due to adverse weather conditions, will be carried out tomorrow, May 9 at the intersection of SH1 and Old Hautere Cross Road. The sealing will be done between 9am and 6pm with any delays kept to a minimum.
Speed restrictions will be in place for 3-4 days after the resealing has been completed and motorists are advised to take care on this section of road until the chipseal is bedded down and the road swept.
Mr Taylor says the resealing concludes construction of a right-hand turning bay at this intersection and passes on Transit’s appreciation to the public for their understanding while this work was carried out.
