BUSWAY TRAFFIC BULLETIN: SATURDAY 12 TO FRIDAY 18 MAY

Transit New Zealandadvises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Buswayconstruction (weather permitting).

ONEWA RD– NORTHCOTE RD
Sunday 13 - Thursday 17 May
All SH1 motorway lanes northbound between Onewa Rd & Northcote Rd, and southbound between Northcote Rd & Onewa Rd – CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for scaffold removal
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversions via Northcote Rd & Onewa Rd

ONEWA RDINTERCHANGE
Tuesday 15 May
Northbound on-ramp from Onewa Rdto SH1 – CLOSED - overnight from 10pmuntil 5amfor pedestrian overbridge works
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion to Northcote Rd on-ramp northbound

Northbound off-ramp from SH1 to Onewa Rd– CLOSED - overnight from 10pmuntil 5amfor pedestrian overbridge works
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd off-ramp northbound

Onewa Rd eastbound between Sylvan Ave & Bruce St – CLOSED - overnight from 9pm until 5am for line marking
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion viaLake Rd & Northcote Rd
• If unforeseen circumstances prevent work at the above time, the closure will be on Wednesday 16 May

Sylvan Ave between Tarahanga St& Onewa Rd- CLOSED - overnight from 9pmuntil 5amfor line marking
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion viaLake Rd or Northcote Rd

• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Northcote Rd

CONSTELLATION DR
Wednesday 16 & Thursday 17 May
SH1 southbound lanes – CLOSED – overnight from 10pmuntil 5amthe following morning between Constellation Dr& Tristram Avefor barrier deployment
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Constellation Dr off-ramp southbound

Southbound on-ramp from Constellation Dr to SH1 – CLOSED – overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for barrier deployment
• Motorists are advised to follow the diversion via Constellation Dr

The above dates include contingency dates, and diversion routes are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive over bridges or interchanges are closed at the same time & the correct diversions are in place.

Road users are requested to use the sign posted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
