Transit New Zealand would like to advise motorists of proposed closures on the Central Motorway Junction over the next week for installation of Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) and repair work.
Full motorway closures:
Monday
11 and Tuesday 12 June – CLOSED – overnight from 9.30pm
until 5am the following morning for gantry
modification:
* Southern Motorway (SH1) between Fanshawe
St off-ramp and Hobson St on-ramp southbound
Monday 11
June – CLOSED – overnight from 10.30pm until 5am on
Tuesday for gantry modification:
* Southern Motorway
(SH1) between Symonds/Port/Wellesley off-ramp and Wellington
St on-ramp
Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14 June – CLOSED
– overnight from 9.30pm until 5am the following morning
for gantry modification:

During these times motorists are requested to follow the signposted detours while the closures are in operation.
Transit New Zealand regrets any inconvenience caused.
