Wellington Chamber Looks Forward to Working with New Economic Development Agency
The Wellington Regional Chamber of Commerce has welcomed the announcement of the board of directors for the newly-established Wellington region economic development agency.
"The new board brings a wide range of experience and expertise that bodes well for the economic advancement of the Wellington region", said Chamber CEO Charles Finny.
"The Chamber is fully behind the objectives of the Wellington Regional Strategy and today's announcement is another step toward the delivery of those goals.
"It is pleasing that that the whole region has got behind the Regional EDA which will be better resourced as a result. What we need now is action to take the region forward.
"The Chamber looking forward to working with the Regional EDA to further enhance the economic development of the Wellington region", Mr Finny concluded.
