Vector Arena set for international netball

Vector Arena will host its first ever netball game on Wednesday, 18 July, as the Silver Ferns take on Australia in the Fisher & Paykel Series.

Those heading to the game are encouraged to take public transport to get to the central city venue.

The arena is located within easy walking distance of major transport hubs such as the Britomart Transport Centre and downtown ferry terminal, and within 1.5 km of more than 7000 car parks.

A Link bus stop is also located within a one-minute walk from the arena on Beach Road

A map showing central city car parking buildings and public transport links near Vector Arena is available on the Auckland City Council website, www.aucklandcity.govt.nz.

For information about public transport options to the game, visit www.maxx.co.nz or phone 366 6400.

Since the arena opened this year, the world-class, indoor, multi-purpose venue has proven a magnet for major international acts, and has the capacity, facilities and operational flexibility to host an enormous variety of sports, music and entertainment events as well as large community events.
