Time To Get In2it at North Shore City
In2it is the new place to go to find out what's on for young people in North Shore City.
The website is a product of North Shore City Council's Youth Destinations Project, which aims to get more 10-15 year olds physically active in their leisure time.
Youth Destinations project manager, Dan Kane, says In2it's all about hanging with your mates, physical activity and music.
"The website's designed to let Shore youth know exactly what's on offer for them in their city. There's details about all the cool stuff happening in our parks, at the beach, and at our leisure centres," he says.
The website will be updated with upcoming events and there's the chance to win lots of awesome prizes. There's also the chance to give feedback on what you think of the site, the activities and the music.
Dan says events kick off next month (October) with break dancing clinics that will be held in parks all over the city - "Breaking in the parks".
"We have heaps of great activities planned for summer, look out for the Cheapskates street demos which will kick off next month and keep an eye out for all the new beach volleyball activities," he says.
