In2it is celebrating summer
In2it is celebrating summer with some pre-Christmas action-packed events
In2it is a product of North Shore City Council’s Youth Destinations Project, which aims to get more 10-15 year olds physically active in their leisure time.
North Shore City’s youth destinations project manager, Dan Kane, says the events taking place during December have a great summer flavour.
“December kicks off with Nickelodeon’s Let’s Just Play day at Windsor Reserve on Sunday, December 2,” he says.
“This will be a fantastic family day out with events starting after the Devonport Christmas parade. There will be a blow up obstacle course, skating and basketball and bands including local band The Liquorice Twists”.
“Beach cricket bowls
off on December 9 at Takapuna Beach Reserve. Beach cricket
is great because it can be enjoyed by all ages as
individuals or families. It’s an excellent way to spend
the afternoon at the beach enjoying the sun, sand and
music,” says Mr Kane.
The final Cheapskates skate demo
will be on December 7 in the Killarney St car park and a
premier screening of the demo DVD.
“Before we break for the Christmas and New Year holiday, we will farewell the year in style with some extreme action on our 30 meter slide at Stafford Park on December 16.”
