BUSWAY TRAFFIC BULLETIN: SATURDAY 1 – FRIDAY 7 DECEMBER

Transit New Zealandadvises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Buswayconstruction (weather permitting).

MOTORWAY CLOSURES
Sunday 2 December(contingency 3 – 6 December)
SH1 motorway southbound between Constellation Dr and Tristram Aveclosed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for barrier removal.
• Constellation Dr southbound on-ramp will also be closed
• Diversion route: exit at Constellation Dr southbound off-ramp and re enter motorway via Tristram Aveon-ramp

Tuesday 4 December(contingency 3 - 6 December)
SH1 motorway southbound between Tristram Aveand Northcote Rdclosed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for motorway realignment.
• Tristram Avesouthbound on-ramp will be closed
• Diversion route: exit at Tristram Avesouthbound off-ramp and re enter motorway via Northcote Rdon-ramp

RAMP AND LINK CLOSURES
ONEWA RD
Tuesday 4 - Thursday 6 December (contingency 2 and 3 December)
Onewa northbound off-ramp and on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for drainage work and beam delivery.
• Diversion via Stafford Rd, Esmonde Rdor Northcote Rdnorthbound ramps

Tuesday 4 - Thursday 6 December(contingency 2 and 3 December)
Onewa southbound on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for drainage work and beam delivery.
• Sylvan Ave and Onewa Rdwill also be closed
• Diversion via Esmonde Rdor Northcote Rdsouthbound ramps

NORTHCOTE RD
Sunday 2 - Monday 3 December(contingency 5 December)
Northcote Rdnorthbound off-ramp and on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for surfacing.
• Northcote Rdeastbound and westbound will also be closed
• Diversion via Esmonde Rdor Tristram Avenorthbound ramps

Sunday 2, Monday 3 and Wednesday 5 December(contingency 4 and 6 December
Northcote Rdsouthbound on-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for surfacing.
• Northcote Rdeastbound and westbound will also be closed
• Diversion via Esmonde Rdor Onewa Rdsouthbound ramps

Tuesday 4 - Wednesday 5 December (contingency 6 December)
Northcote Rdsouthbound off-ramp closed each night from 10pm until 5am the following morning for surfacing works and motorway realignment.
• Diversion via Esmonde Rdsouthbound off-ramp

TRISTRAM AVE
Thursday 6 December(contingency 2 and 5 December)
Tristram Avesouthbound off-ramp and on-ramp closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for paving.
• Diversion via Northcote Rdsouthbound ramps

The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time, and the correct diversions are in place.

Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.
