Busway Traffic Bulletin: Saturday 26 January – Friday 1 February

Transit New Zealand advises motorists of next week’s proposed closures for work on State Highway 1 for Northern Busway construction (weather permitting).

ESMONDE RD
Tuesday 29 January (contingency 30 - 31 January)
All SH1 Esmonde Rd northbound and southbound on and off-ramps closed overnight from 9pm until 5am the following morning for line marking and road works.
* Diversion via Northcote Rd or Shelly Beach Rd

Esmonde Rd eastbound and westbound closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for road works.
Akoranga Dr will also be closed
* Diversion via Northcote Rd, Taharoto Rd and Lake Rd

Fred Thomas Dr northbound and southbound closed overnight from 8pm until 5am for line marking and roading works.
* Diversion via Barrys Point Rd

CONSTELLATION DR
Tuesday 29 January (contingency 30 - 31 January)
Constellation Dr westbound closed overnight from 10pm until 5am the following morning for surfacing and line marking.
* SH1 Constellation Dr southbound on-ramp will also be closed
* Diversion via Tristram Ave

The above include contingency dates and diversion routes, which are subject to change. Work planned for adjacent junctions will be reviewed daily to ensure that no two consecutive overbridges or interchanges are closed at the same time, and the correct diversions are in place.

Road users are requested to use the signposted detours whilst the closures are in operation.

Transit New Zealand apologises for any inconvenience caused.
