Shore Sounds Free Summer Concerts schedule announcement!

The North Shore City Council events team are proud to announce a Shore Sounds 2008 Free Summer Concerts schedule that lays waste to those of previous years.

This summer the Shore Sounds crew have secured some of our best national and local acts for 10 fantastic free concerts across our city this summer.

Artists include, Scribe, Greg Johnson, Little Bushman, Che Fu, The Brunettes, SJD, One Million Dollars, Batucada Sound Machine, Cornerstone Roots and a selection of young and upcoming artists recording at Devonport’s The Depot.

The Shore Sounds free summer concert series will kick-off on Saturday, February 16, at Mairangi Beach with a concert by Bubblegum Pop band The Brunettes.

This year’s schedule reflects a new look line-up, featuring well known popular contemporary artists who have broad audience appeal in their respective fields.

North Shore City Council has also moved to improve its events information by imbedding video into the corporate council website, thus providing a more exciting and interactive environment for punters browsing for events information.
