Take the bus or ferry to Devonport

Travel with MAXX to enjoy good food, fine wines and music in Devonport this weekend

On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 February, Aucklanders indulging themselves in the delights on show at the Devonport Food, Wine and Music Festival can travel the easy way with MAXX.

Additional 813 bus services will run between the Takapuna Transport Centre and the Devonport Wharf every 15 minutes on both days of the festival. Services will run between 9.45am (from Takapuna) and 7.00pm (from Devonport) on Saturday and between 9:45am (from Takapuna) and from 6:45pm (from Devonport) on Sunday. Normal bus fares apply.

Extra ferries will provide a shuttle service between the Downtown Ferry Terminal and the Devonport Wharf during the course of the weekend.

Additional ferry services from Birkenhead to Devonport (via Bayswater and Northcote Point) will be operating at 11am and 12pm (noon). In the evening, extra ferries will leave Devonport for Birkenhead at 5pm and 6pm.

Regular ferry services from Half Moon Bay to Auckland departing at 9.45am and 12.45pm, will travel via Devonport on both Saturday and Sunday. Additional return ferries will depart Devonport for Half Moon Bay at 5.10pm and 6.10pm.
