Community Housing Aotearoa (cHA) is proud to have staged a successful Chili Cook-Off in Wellington's Civic Square today [4/3/09]. Photos are available to view at http://communityhousingaotearoa.blogspot.com

The IHC team (I-Watering) took out the first overall Winner prize, and the Sustainability Trust team earnt the prize for Hottest Darn Chili.

CHA offered a big thanks to the judging panel: Minister of Housing Hon. Phil Heatley; Wellington Mayor Kerry Prendergast; celebrity chef Steve Logan ("Hunger for the Wild") and Tarsh of More FM. A bigger thanks went to all those CHA members and supporters who took part: IHC, Wellington Housing Trust, Habitat for Humanity, Atareira, Easy Access Housing, NZ Coalition to End Homelessness and the NZ Council for Christian Social Services (and the CHA team!)
