Hawke’s Bay water update meeting — Don’t miss!

There’s HEAPS going on with respect to water management in Hawke’s Bay.
From water metering to water harvesting, from stormwater to wastewater, from the Tukituki (looking more promising) to the Mohaka (looking grim), from rivers to aquifers.

Don’t miss this important update and discussion meeting on Thursday, August 6, 7:30p at the Havelock North Community Centre.

Participating will be: Andrew Newman, Chief Executive of the HB Regional Council, Andrew Curtis of Irrigation New Zealand, Iain Maxwell of Fish and Game, farmer Hugh Ritchie, and Mike Mohi, Chairman of the Regional Council’s Maori Committee.

Excellent opportunity to get informed about the state of our water here in the Bay and what’s being done to protect it.
