Amazing Grace – an update!

For those of you following the story of Grace Hughes, a five-year old living in Dunedin, who for no apparent physical reason has never eaten, she is drawing support from far and wide.

Grace and her family are planning to go to Graz, Austria to visit a specialist hospital that can help children who do not eat. Being able to eat would be life changing for Grace and assist her learning and development, particularly her speech.

Her medical fund set up by her parents Pip and Gareth Hughes, has received an outstanding number of donations, however more funding is still required to get her to Austria! Thank you to all of you who have generously contributed. For anyone still thinking of making a donation – here’s a few ways you can help.

Teams can be made up of 4-6 people ($5 per person). There are lots of great raffle prizes to be won and a silent auction with some fabulous goods available for bidding. Amazing Grace’s Magic Show for KIDS! Saturday 12 September, 2.30pm - The East Taieri Church

A fun filled fantastic line up of Magician’s/Children’s entertainers will be performing – including a ‘Magical’ appearance by Grace!

Pippity-Pop! Balloons will also be on Sale.

Amazing Grace’s – Fundraising Auction – Thursday 15 October, 7pm, The Otago Lounge at Carisbrook A Major Auction along with a ‘silent auction’, including some fabulous items, including Art-Work, Signed Sporting Gear etc. There will be something for everyone!

TICKETS: $10 each which includes A Wine (hopefully more than one) and Nibbles.
