School Holiday Fun For All
Holiday fun is in
full swing at Botany Town Centre, and what better to keep
the kids entertained than getting them involved with the
great activities that are taking place at the centre.
To spread some inspiration, retailer Seedling has sprung into spring, providing an exciting hands-on experience for kids. Seedling is inviting kids of all ages to role up their sleaves and get their hands dirty by planting their very own spring flower. The plant won’t go without a home either, as kids will also get to decorate their own terracotta pot for their spring flower to live in.
Seedling’s new store at Botany Town Centre also offers many other in-store activities for kids. You can drop in to make something unique for yourself or as a gift, selecting your activity from a menu. They are also the one stop shop when looking for the perfect inspirational gift for children, with the full Seedling range of hands-on kits, as well as stocking fantastic toys, books and gifts sourced from around the world.
If planting and crafts is not for your thing, you can always let off some steam by taking part in The Edge Shout Champs with Memphis Meltdown. The Edge is on the hunt for New Zealand’s loudest shouters with the first ever ‘Shout Champs’. On Friday 9 October at 11.30am, the Shout Champs heat will take place in search of the loudest guy and girl shouter who will be into win $2500 each. Armed with a decibel meter, the host will judge each person as they take to the stage and shout as loud as they can.
Kids will love rocking it out with Kindy Rock, providing a fun and interactive time for all by enhancing children’s development through fun musical activities.
The Whitcoulls Kids Zone will be helping to stimulate the minds of young ones with some awesome daily activities, including learning to draw, a Monopoly challenge, a treasure hunt and much more.
“We’re delighted to be bringing some great school holiday action to Botany Town Centre,” says Centre Manager Jennifer Manning. “There is something for everyone to enjoy and the great activities are sure to keep the young ones off the couch and keep them active during the break.”
There are plenty of other activities to keep the kids amused, from Go Wax Hands and the vertical bungy, to a tug boat ride and fantastic movies at Berkley Cinema.
