$4 Million Powerball Prize Sold on North Shore Still Unclaimed
A Lotto Powerball player who bought a ticket in the North Shore may be unaware they could be sitting on a small fortune. NZ Lotteries is asking all North Shore Lotto players to check their tickets as a ticket bought at the Mairangi Bay Dairy is worth $4 million and the prize is still unclaimed from last Saturday’s draw, says NZ Lotteries Chief Executive Todd McLeay.
“The ticket won a Powerball prize of $3 million and a Lotto First Division prize of $1 million so it will be a double celebration for the winner when they come forward,” says Mr McLeay.
All Lotto players who bought a ticket in Mairangi Bay Dairy should check and double check their tickets for a chance to claim this life-changing prize.
“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in
wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa – someone out
there could literally be sitting on a fortune! We
have
the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that
the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win,” says
Mr McLeay.
The ticket is valid for 12 months so the winner has plenty of time to claim their prize but with Christmas just around the corner we’d love to unite the player with their winnings as soon as possible,” he adds.
The ticket holder was the sole First Division Lotto and Powerball prize winner from our Saturday 29th November draw.
Tickets can be checked at any Lotto outlet around the country or the winner can contact our Wellington office on 04 802 7000.
