Wellington Institute of Technology (WelTec) will be hosting its bi-annual Information Evening on January 27 at the both the Petone and Wellington CBD Campus. With programmes filling fast, the information evening is an opportunity to discover what study options are on offer.

In 2010 study choices are broader than ever before including a new Graduate Diploma in Event Management and degree programmes in Youth Work, Social Work, Information Technology and Engineering Technology.

The new programmes add to WelTec’s diverse offerings in the areas of creative technologies, construction trades, engineering, business, IT, health and wellbeing, hospitality and many more.

The information evening will offer the chance for prospective students to find out about study and career options, talk with tutors and have a look around the campus. Seminars will also be on offer to provide a taste of the subjects at WelTec.

In addition, interactive displays including creative technology presentations, interactive computing activities, virtual trade training equipment and demonstrations allow the public to see vocational education in practice.

Both campuses are open between 3pm and 7pm.
