Helpers Pull Together To Support Radio Station

Guys And Girls Pull Together To Support New Radio Station

Warrington School, Saturday 16 January: Blueskin Bay FM broadcasters and several roped-in helpers hoisted the radio mast on the roof of a school building. The mast has a total height of 15m and this height will help the very low 500-milliwatt power of the transmitter to reach most parts of Blueskin Bay.

The transmitter was switched on to transmit a silent carrier signal on
88.2MHz. The station plans to make its first broadcast in February.
