Update on Roading Conditions No 6 (3pm)
Monday, 26 April 2010
Drivers are being urged to stay at home and only travel in emergencies as surface flooding and high river levels are causing problems on southern roads.
Roads are becoming impassable quicker than they can be checked and drivers are urged to listen to the radion to hear what areas are affected.
NOTE: The Blackmount Redcliff Road has been reopened from the Key through to Weir Road as it is the only way to and from Te Anau at the moment. The road is still covered in water and caution is advised.
