Date! Thursday 27 May – Bridging The Gap Expo
On Thursday 27 May, the Stratford Wellbeing Expo “Bridging the Gap” is being held at the War Memorial Centre from 10am – 4pm.
Bridging the Gap will be a huge FREE event aimed at people of all ages in our Stratford community.
With loads of informative, interactive displays and workshops along with demonstrations, sausage sizzles, and even a bouncy castle for the kids, there is everything you need and more for a happy, healthy lifestyle!
Representatives from Police, NZ Army and NZ Navy will be attending as well as our very own local talent!
Community Development Officer, Mary O’Sullivan says, “the aim of this expo is to be a fun day out for families and the community, and to provide an opportunity for exhibitors to showcase their own services, products, techniques and talents in living a wellbeing lifestyle”
There will be great prizes up for grabs and the first 200 through the door get a FREE wellbeing goody bag to take home!
People are encouraged to bring the whole family along for a day of fun activities, healthy lifestyle options and a chance to try new things!
“Bridging the gap is encouraging all ages to come together and by trying out new things, and learning from each other what wellbeing means to them”
If any wellbeing themed community organisation is interested in being part of this Expo you need to get in contact with Mary or Kate at Stratford District Council TODAY!!
A great opportunity to find new members for a community group or organisation, promote your own expertise on wellbeing and just meet other people interested in wellbeing! Don’t miss out as spaces are limited and filling up fast!
