MEETINGS 2010 social calendar will showcase some exciting
Auckland venues and promises to be full of glamour and
surprises.
"The MEETINGS 2010 social calendar will showcase some of Auckland's top venues, beginning with the welcome function at one of Auckland's more traditional and historical settings, the Auckland War Memorial Museum," says Jeanette Stanton, MEETINGS 2010 Event Manager.
Next on the list is a networking and entertainment event hosted by the Auckland Convention Bureau. "Without giving too much away, the Bureau will host a relaxed sports themed evening on Wednesday 23 June where guests will enjoy a few drinks and also some lighthearted competition at the same time."
The glamour function of the MEETINGS 2010 social calendar promises to be the MEETINGS dinner at The Langham Auckland, the finer details of which Louise Erceg, Director of Sales and Marketing is keeping under wraps - except to add that it will be fabulous.
"The dress code for the evening is 'in your finest' and with the function being held in the new Great Room, it's very apt. All I want to say at this stage is that the entertainment will be top class and the evening will be full of surprises," she says. "Look forward to 'A Great Night in The Great Room'."
MEETINGS 2010 is being held on June 23 and 24 at SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre and showcases a diverse range of New Zealand’s venues, products and services. Hosted buyers from throughout New Zealand, Australia and a select group from long-haul destinations will attend show. This year the show is welcoming more international hosted buyers than ever, including 12 North American and 9 Chinese buyers.
Exhibitor's quickly snapped up space this year, even with exhibitors slots increased from 170 to 184 the show quickly sold out.
