From Nappies to Nobu for Big Wednesday’s North Shore Winners

A builder from the North Shore is thanking his lucky stars after winning a fabulous VIP trip to Hollywood for four to live like a star and $100,000 cash with Big Wednesday.

Builder Aaron plans to book his trip for sometime in 2011, as he and his partner are expecting their first baby in a few weeks.

The couple popped into their local Lotto shop, Haywards Paper Power in North Shore City, to check their tickets on their way to an ante-natal class – and found out they were on their way to Los Angeles instead.

“We had to hurry up and do all the paperwork to claim our prize as we did not want to be late for our class.  As it was, I sat through the whole session with a big smile on my face,” Aaron said.

“The cash will come in very handy with a baby about to arrive and the trip is something for us to look forward to. We will go from changing nappies one week to living the high life in a Hollywood mansion the next.

“My partner is a big ‘The Hills’ TV fan, so she is especially looking forward to shopping on Rodeo Drive in real life and is hoping for serious star spotting at our red carpet movie premiere.

“Our short term focus is now on welcoming our baby, but we might add a few things to the new baby shopping list now,” he said.

Aaron’s winning ticket was sold at Haywards Paper Power in North Shore City.  He has won a VIP week in Hollywood for himself and three guests, including:

-          Return business class flights to Los Angeles

-          Six nights accommodation in a luxury Hollywood Hills home

-          VIP attendance at a red carpet Hollywood movie premier

-          Luxury spa treatment and session with a top hair stylist

-          Enjoy a private chef for the week

-          Shopping spree on Rodeo Drive with a personal shopping assistant

-          Access to a chauffeured luxury vehicle for the week

-          Dinner at the exclusive Nobu in West Hollywood

-          The winner and three guests will each receive US$10,000 spending money

-          The winner will also receive NZ$100,000 cash.

Meanwhile, Big Wednesday jackpotted last week, so at this week’s draw players will be in to win $3.5 million plus all the luxury lifestyle prizes.
