GO Wellington introduces a new 30 day pass

GO Wellington introduces a new 30 day pass onto Snapper

GO Wellington announces that it will be introducing the GO Wellington 30 Day Pass on 1 October.

“Our customers and the Greater Wellington Regional Council Chair, Fran Wilde and other councilors have asked us to reconsider introducing a monthly Snapper based pass for GO Wellington services,” says Zane Fulljames, Chief Operating Officer, NZ Bus.

“We have listened to them and will be introducing a new 30 day pass for GO Wellington customers – the GO Wellington 30 Day Pass,” continues Mr. Fulljames. “For $135 GO Wellington customers can access unlimited travel over 30 consecutive days on all GO Wellington services.”

Airport Flyer, Valley Flyer and Runciman’s services are excluded.

The new pass is only available on Snapper from selected Snapper retailers. It cannot be purchased on bus and is valid for a period of 30 days from the date of first use. It can be used at any time of day or night, including After Midnight services.

“Customers travelling within zones one to three, including the city section, with the new GO Wellington 30 Day Pass will receive an almost 30 per cent discount on the cost of their travel,” concludes Mr. Fulljames. “At $135 for 30 days travel, that’s $4.50 per day. We believe this represents extremely good value.”

Customers can still choose the way they pay for their bus fare – cash, Snapper and receive a discount of between 20 and 30 per cent, or one of our monthly or daily passes to suit their requirements.
