New website improves access to information and services

Hutt City Council’s new website has been a hit with users and Mayor Ray Wallace is encouraging more people to jump online and check it out.

“We’ve given our website a makeover with a new design and layout to make it easier for people to find information and use our online services.

“The feedback we’ve received from people using the website has been positive and I’m proud of the work council staff have put in to make it such a success,” says Mayor Wallace.

Visitors to the site can catch up on the latest council news, events and information and do things such as pay their parking fines online, make property enquires or search for organisations in the community directory.

“The new website is part of council’s commitment to improving the online services we offer and in the year ahead we’ll be making it possible for people to do even more via our website,” says Mayor Wallace.

Check out the new website by visiting www.huttcity.govt.nz.
