The Stratford District Council working with the TSB Pool Complex, Plunket, and More FM are celebrating National Children’s Day with a Pool Party on Sunday 6 March from 1pm – 3pm.

Entry to the pool is FREE and there will be a complimentary sausage sizzle for all those happy hungry kids.

Other things to looks forward to include; ice block giveaways, a bouncy castle, face painting by Stratford Girl Guides as well as biscuits available for purchasing, and loads of spot prizes.

Don’t forget to get your colouring in competition entries into the Council by 12noon Friday 4 March. These can be picked up from the Stratford Library and i-Site and entries will be on display at the pool. Winners will be announced on Sunday.

Community Development Officer Jess Brocas says, “It should be an awesome afternoon and will be great to see families enjoying an afternoon out together”.

While we suggest that parents come down to celebrate with their children please remember children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times. An adult must be over 16 years of age and not a sibling under 15 years.
