30 minutes of free calling for 2degrees’ Christchurch customers

With its Christchurch network restored and running smoothly, 2degrees has given affected Christchurch customers 30 minutes of free calling to any standard landline or mobile in New Zealand.
Chief Executive Eric Hertz says free minutes were added to customers’ accounts this morning, so all they need to do is pick up their phone and call friends and loved ones.

“Getting around Christchurch can be difficult right now, but keeping in touch doesn’t have to be. We’re looking forward to doing more for our Christchurch customers and this is just a start.”

Customers who have made a phone call on their 2degrees mobile in Christchurch City since February 22 have automatically been given this credit and can use their 30 free minutes any time over the next 14 days.
