ACC has set up a new web

to provide essential information for treatment providers
about maintaining services for ACC clients following the
Christchurch earthquake and during the national state of
emergency.
Information on this web page that may be of interest to you includes:
• Cover for people who have developed a mental
injury from the earthquake

work
• Consequential conditions not generally
covered
• Concussion services available for ACC
clients
• Assistance for visitors to New
Zealand.

Whakawhanaungatanga (RSW) is offering nationwide trauma
support following the Christchurch
earthquake.
Christchurch people who have left the city following the earthquake can contact their nearest RSW office for free support. The service is also available for people who don’t live in Christchurch but are anxious following the earthquake.
The free Government-funded service includes telephone support, as well as face-to-face support. RSW has 35 offices serving 70 centres nationwide.
