CSI Game Solves Everything

A young Wellingtonian says winning $100,000 on Instant Kiwi’s $5 CSI game today means everything she couldn’t do, can be done now!

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, had her hours cut at her workplace recently, and had a long list of things that needed to be done, including a bit of a makeover, and this windfall solves everything at once.

“I need to get the dog and my teeth fixed – but not necessarily in that order! I’d like some new clothes and a hair-cut. Our car always needs work on it, but we can now buy a new one, and my birthday’s coming up so we’ll be able to have a big celebration,” says the ecstatic winner.

The woman is a keen ‘scratchie’ player and had had a run of wins this morning, so thought she’d try the CSI game, and couldn’t believe it when she won one of the three top prizes – and neither could her friends.

“People obviously think luck is catching because they keep rubbing against me today!” she jokes

The ticket, inspired by the hit TV show CSI (Crime Scene Investigation), still has two top prizes of $100,000 left to win.
