Helps Keep Holiday Boredom At Bay
The problem of how
to keep kids occupied and entertained during the school
holidays is familiar to many parents. Help is at hand for
Tauranga mums and dads: during the school holidays, Bayfair
Shopping Centre will be helping keep boredom at bay by
encouraging parents to follow three simple steps to create
fun and interactive activity for their kids throughout the
school holidays.
The first step will invite kids to participate in a treasure hunt, for which entry forms can be collected from the Bayfair Information Desk (outside Kmart). By following the clues provided, kids will be tasked with matching photographic images to various locations within Bayfair. The hunt will lead back to the Information Desk, and once the corresponding locations are marked against the photos the participants will go into the draw to win one of five $100 Bayfair gift cards.
Bayfair Shopping Centre marketing manager Nina Rivett says, “We understand the school holidays can be a challenging time for parents and caregivers, especially as the colder months are now upon us. Activities such as the Treasure Hunt are the perfect solution for keeping the kids entertained, and where better to do so than all under one roof at Bayfair?”
The second step is treating kids to a bite to eat at the participating food outlets. Parents who spend $15 or more on themselves and at least one child in a single transaction can present their receipt to the Information Desk and claim a gift (while stocks last):
o From Monday 18 April and Thursday
21 April, a Baywave child swim voucher;
o From Monday 25
April (from 1pm onwards) and Friday 29 April, the choice of
one of three DVD titles.
The third step is to enjoy your new gift, courtesy of Bayfair.
