Unique Golden Triangle Mayors Event in Tauranga
Unique Golden Triangle Mayors Event in Tauranga
The Golden Triangle mayors (Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga) will be hosted by Tauranga Chamber of Commerce in a unique event on 23 May.
This luncheon event is the first time these three mayors - Len Brown (Auckland), Julie Hardaker (Hamilton) and Stuart Crosby (Tauranga) - have addressed the same audience on the Golden Triangle theme. They will cover a range of topics of interest to the attendees from the business community based on their collaborative approach to future planning and co-ordination.
The triangle between Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga is experiencing high population growth, has substantial economic opportunities and is home to the country’s largest airport and the two largest ports. The infrastructure demand in this triangle is huge and optimizing connectivity between the three cities is vital. For the nation’s economy to grow, the upper North Island's role in driving growth will become increasingly important.
There is substantial interest in this event with attendees coming from Rotorua, Hamilton and Auckland along with key business people in Tauranga.
The
luncheon will be held on Monday 23rd May 2011at the Sebel
Trinity Wharf, Tauranga, starting at
11.45am.
