The Great Grabaseat Standby Christchurch!

The Great Grabaseat Standby Christchurch!

Take your marks, get set… Standby!

This Saturday 11 June 2011, Air New Zealand grabaseat is giving Cantabrians the opportunity to prove they can standby Christchurch, no matter what, for the chance to grab a round the world ticket for two.

In a nod to the ‘last-man-standing’ competitions of yesteryear, a giant grabaseat plane will be inflated in North Hagley Park early on Saturday morning, around which the Great Grabaseat Standby Christchurch will take place.

Registrations will take place between 10 and 11 am, and grabaseat urges people to arrive early because only the first 300 people registered will be in the running to find a spot, stand on one leg and prove they are the strongest person standing-by Christchurch.

At 11.30 am the starting horn will sound and participants will be challenged to standby for the chance to be the last man standing and take away the grand prize of two round the world tickets.

In addition, grabaseat encourages all keen participants to come dressed to impress with their best game faces on for the chance to win one of six domestic flight spot prizes that will also be distributed at random to deserving standers-by on the day.

For additional information and full terms and conditions head to www.grabaseat.co.nz.
