Highlanders Fly Around Ash Cloud With Vincent Aviation

The Highlanders will fly to Auckland today on a Vincent Aviation Charter. On learning that the team’s original flight had been cancelled The Highlanders were looking at the possibility of busing and ferrying to get to Auckland. The chartered flight will fly around the Ash Cloud, ensuring safety.
Vincent Aviation has been monitoring the situation along with the Civil Aviation Authority and can make the two hour flight safely. Vincent Aviation was able to react within hours of receiving the air charter request and will fly their Auckland based Jet down South to Dunedin this afternoon.
Peter Vincent the company CEO said, “Safety is our top priority and we have an impeccable safety record. As an air charter specialist we are set up to help customers with flexible itineraries and can arrange late notice charters. In flying Prince William to Greymouth earlier this year we met the strictest safety criteria.” It has been a busy year for Vincent Aviation as Peter explains, “We flew several rugby teams that had their venues changed with the Cantebury earthquakes. In a World Cup year we expect there will be high demand for air charters as customers want to see New Zealand in between games.”
Vincent Aviation is New Zealand’s largest air charter company. With a fleet of 13 aircraft ranging from 5 passenger light jets to the 40 passenger DASH 8 Turboprop which has recently flown passengers in and out of regional airports such as Invercargill and Oamaru. Some of these aircraft are based in Darwin in Australia’s Northern Territories where the company provides services mainly to the Mining and Oil Sectors.
