Update of ticket holders unable to get to NZ v Tonga

12 September 2011

Update on register of ticket holders unable to get to New Zealand v Tonga match

Fifty six people have completed a register set up for those unable to get to Friday’s New Zealand v Tonga match.

Auckland Transport set up the register earlier today for people with unredeemed tickets and those who were not able to make it before the opening ceremony or kick off. People can register at www.aucklandtransport.govt.nz/transportregister or by calling 0800 301 011.

All those who register will need to provide their ticketing customer ID, full name and address of the ticket purchaser and their ticket allocation details (entry, section, row and seat).

Meanwhile the rail operator Veolia is undertaking a review of what occurred on Friday night, particularly with regards to train delays.

Auckland Transport has asked that the report includes issues such as on-board security, improved communication with customers, ventilation on trains, passenger health and safety, more rapid response to operational issues and the use of extra buses in the event of train failures.
